Vacancy- Multimedia & Graphic Designer

Reporting to the Director of Programming & Events, the role requires a sound knowledge and demonstrated experience in web and graphic design and updating blogs and other social media profiles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

Graphic design
oCreating and developing print design for brochures, flyers and promotional material.
oBasic watermarking and editing of photographic content.

Multimedia Design
o Creating digital images for the purpose of animation
o Transferring audio/video files to be edited and manipulated digitally
o Creating artwork to be used in animation
o Creating animated sequences using computer software

Online Content
oActively update and manage content on website, blog, YouTube channel, Facebook and Twitter accounts.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Applicants must have excellent skills and proven experience working with the following programs/software/sites:

o HTML
o JavaScript
o CSS
o InDesign
o Illustrator
o Photoshop
o WordPress
o Facebook
o Twitter

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA:
o Confident and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
o Ability to work to deadlines and great time management skills.
o Accuracy and the ability to check your own work.
o Self-motivated, and able to work autonomously.
o Relevant tertiary qualification.
o At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
o Ability to commit to a 3-day work week
